LABRADOR - Labrador Iron Mines Holdings of Toronto has signed a rail services agreement with Western Labrador Rail Services (WLRS) for the movement of iron ore from the company's Silver Yards processing facility in western Labrador to the main Schefferville-to-Emeril junction rail line. According to LIM, WLRS will provide, operate and maintained up to five dedicated SD 40-3 locomotives.

The Quebec North Shore & Labrador Railway will then transport the ore to port facilities in Sept-Iles, QC.

Construction at the mine site is nearly complete, and LIM expects commissioning and start up will occur this spring. Details are available at www.LabradorIronMines.ca.
