BRITISH COLUMBIA – Seeking a joint venture partner for the Red Chris development, BCMETALS CORP. of Vancouver is in talks with GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL JIANGXI COPPER MINING CO. (GIJCM) of Hong Kong. If a deal is struck, GIJCM will fund the equity component of the construction cost.

GIJCM specializes in mining investment and development, with various copper, gold, silver and other non-ferrous metal mining projects in Australia, Canada and other overseas markets.

Late last year, bcMetals arranged US$110 million for its share of Red Chris development costs. The company says its previous financing will be unaffected if it takes on a partner in the project. View the company’s presentation covering its projects at www.bcMetalsCorp.com.
