Petro-Canada Lubricants has secured an exclusive commitment from McCloskey International to use its newly reformulated Hydrex™ hydraulic fluids for manufacturing of machinery and as factory fill. As an early adopter of the new fluids, McCloskey’s two-tier endorsement includes product applications for its own machinery, as well as the approval to use Hydrex in the equipment the company manufactures (OEM approval). Additionally, McCloskey will now be featuring Hydrex as part of its outgoing promotion and communication on their equipment.
“Our newest reformulation has proven to deliver up to two times better wear protection and up to three times longer oil life over the competition for our customers,” said Robert Farthing, category manager, lubricants, Suncor.
With the latest reformulation, Hydrex strengthens its promise to deliver premium wear protection, extreme weather performance, system energy efficiencies and fluid life durability.
“Across North America, we are endorsing Hydrex because the right hydraulic fluid can lead to greater productivity and reduced operating costs,” explained McCloskey’s Kevin Ruppert. “With longer oil life, we can extend drain intervals and save time and money on change outs, shutdowns and product for our equipment – and we encourage our customers to do the same”
