MINING PEOPLE: Adriana Resources, Kaminak Gold, and Newmarket Gold

Adriana Resources of Toronto has appointed Michael Harrison as president and CEO as Allen J. Palmiere has stepped down from those offices. Richard Williams has been elected to the board of Vancouver-based Kaminak Gold Corp. He is currently VP engineering and development of NovaGold Resources where he is responsible for the advancement of the Donlin gold project in Alaska. The new COO of Vancouver’s Newmarket Gold is Darren Hall, who will be based in Australia where he will oversee the company’s operating mines and growth projects. He is a former employee of Newmont Mining where he headed the Asia Pacific group operations.
