MINING PEOPLE: Alder Resources, Energizer Resources, and Kirkland Lake Gold

The new president and CEO of Toronto-based Alder Resources is Don Dudek, effective Dec. 16, 2013. Dudek is also chairman of the company.

Energizer Resources of Toronto has named Robin Borley to the role of senior VP mine development and to the board of directors, effective Dec. 1, 2013. He will oversee all matters related to the development of the Molo graphite project in Madagascar.

The team at Kirkland Lake Gold, of the northern Ontario town of the same name, is undergoing some changes. George Ogilvie is now CEO, and Brian Hinchcliffe is deputy chairman. Ogilvie was recently CEO at Rambler Metals and Mining. Additionally, Mark Tessier has resigned from the job of COO with the company.
