Toronto-based INV Metals has named Candace MacGibbon as CEO and a director upon the retirement of CEO Robert Bell at the end of September. MacGibbon has been with the company since 2008.

The new chairman of Vancouver’s Nevada Exploration is Dennis Higgs. He replaces Wade Hodges, who remains CEO and a member of the board.

Pretium Resources of Vancouver has asked Dr. Nicole Adshead-Bell to join its board. She has more than 20 years’ experience evaluating and advising mining companies, most recently as director of mining research at Sun Valley Gold. She holds a PhD in geology from James Cook University in Australia.

Puma Exploration, based in Rimouski, QC, has welcomed Dale Ginn as a director of the company. He is an experienced mining executive and geologist of nearly 30 years. He is the founder of two exploration and mining companies and has led and participated in numerous gold and base metal discoveries, many of which are in production today. He is currently VP of Kerr Mines and CEO of SGX Resources.
