MINING PEOPLE: Antioquia Gold, Corsa Coal, Falco Resources, and Search Minerals

Antioquia Gold of Calgary has a new president and CEO, Julian Villarruel. He lives in Colombia and is a mining and metallurgical engineer, lawyer and international economics specialist. He replaces Fernando Jaramillo who has stepped down. The company has also appointed Michael Cannock to its board of directors.

Toronto-headquartered Corsa Coal has named Peter Merritts the president of the company's Northern Appalachia Division.

Falco Resources of Toronto has appointed Luc Lessard its new president and CEO. He was recently COO and VP of engineering at Osisko Mining. Trent Mell has stepped down as president and CEO of Falco.

Search Minerals announced the appointments of Greg Andrews to president and Barry Girling to corporate secretary. James (Jim) Clucas, the outgoing interim president and CEO, has transitioned to executive chairman of the company. The role of CEO will remain vacant for the time being.
