MINING PEOPLE: Blackheath, Pure Gold, and Tantalex

The new president of Vancouver-based Blackheath Resources is Alexander Langer. He was formerly VP of corporate development.

Pure Gold Mining of Vancouver has strengthened its leadership team as it advances the Madsen gold project. Darin Labrenz, who was chief geologist at the Campbell mine, is now president and CEO. Darren O'Brien, also a veteran of the Red Lake camp, is VP exploration. Christopher Lee becomes structural geologist, and Mark Pryor becomes chief exploration geologist. Pure Gold  Mining changed its name from Laurentian Goldfields on June 25, 2014.

Bernard Lapointe is now COO at Tantalex Resources Corp. of Toronto. He is the holder of a PhD in geology from the University of Chicoutimi and has 30 years of experience in the field. He is also a founder of Arianne Resources (now Arianne Phosphate).
