MINING PEOPLE: Bluestone, Encanto Potash, and Nevsun

Vancouver’s Bluestone Resources has named David Gunning senior VP of operations. He has over 35 years of experience, specializing in high grade underground gold mining.  He will be responsible for the company’s projects in Guatemala. Didier Drogba – star soccer player, philanthropist and UN Goodwill Ambassador – has joined the board of Encanto Potash Corp. in Vancouver. The company’s corporate social responsibility plan includes increasing food security around the world, and Drogba's reach and influence will help Encanto achieve its goals and reduce hunger by bringing safe fertilizers to developing countries. He was most recently CEO of a private resource firm and before that served as chief executive for mining at ArcelorMittal. Kukielski replaces Cliff Davis who has retired.
