As the Quebec Lithium mine and mill owned by Canada Lithium Corp. of Toronto nears commercial production, the company has made changes to its executive. Peter Secker will retain the title of CEO and add the duties of deputy chairman to his responsibilities. COO Charles Taschereau has been named president, and Halina McGregor is VP of finance. Former Ontario premier Ernie Eves is joining the board of directors.

Coalspur Mines of Calgary has appointed Colin Gilligan to the role of COO, effective April 1, 2013.  He will be based in the company's Vancouver office.

Wendell Zerb is the new president and CEO of Exeter Resource Corp. in Vancouver. A registered professional geologist, he worked in the industry for a decade before becoming a mining analyst for an investment dealer. Former president and CEO Bruce Roxburgh will become co-chairman, a position he will share with Yale Simpson.

Vancouver's Goldcorp has invited Charlene Ripley to be its executive VP and general counsel, effective April 1, 2013.

Mahdia Gold Corp. of Toronto has named Andre Douchane its new COO. A mining engineer with more than 30 years of experience, he will oversee mining at the Omai gold mine in Guyana.
