MINING PEOPLE: Castle Mountain, Northern Empire, and Viscount Mining

Castle Mountain Mining Co. of Toronto has promoted Martin (Marty) Tunney to VP of business development. He was previously the VP of technical services.

Jim Paterson has been appointed president and CEO of Vancouver-based Northern Empire Resources Corp. following the resignation of CEO Adrian Fleming. Other new roles include Jeff Sundar as VP corporate development, Bill Cronk as chief geologist, as well as Jim Dawson and Dale Wallster to the commercial and technical committee.

Viscount Mining Corp. of Vancouver has named former Saskatchewan premier Grant Devine to its board of directors.
