MINING PEOPLE: Denison, Goldcorp, Lundin Gold, and Sulliden

Denison Mines of Toronto has promoted former VP finance and David Cates to the position of President. He will retain his duties as CFO. Ron Hochstein remains CEO of the company.

Brent Bergeron is now executive VP corporate affairs and sustainability at Vancouver-based Goldcorp. Jerry Danni becomes senior VP sustainability and will report to Bergeron. The role of executive VP capital projects Russell Ball is being expanded to include corporate development functions.

Vancouver's Lundin Gold has named Carmel Daniele to its board of directors. She is founder and chief investment officer of CD Capital.

Sulliden Mining has appointed Diane Lai to its board. She have more than two decades of experience in business development, management and acquisitions.
