MINING PEOPLE: EPM Mining, Mega Precious, Mindoro, and Williams Creek

Toronto's EPM Mining Ventures has asked Ronald Bryan to join its board of directors. He is a former senior VP of Borden Chemicals & Plastics and a former VP and general manager of Compass Minerals International.

Mega Precious Metals has named Anthony (Tony) Makuch to its board. He is also the president and CEO of Lake Shore Gold. He holds a BSc from the University of Waterloo and an MSc and MBA f rom Queen's University.

Federico Zarate has joined the board of Edmonton-based Mindoro Resources. The company also announced the appointment of Clayton Northey as corporate secretary. Northey will retain his duties as CFO.

Williams Creek Gold of Vancouver has named Stephen M. Leahy to its board of directors. He is founder and chairman of North American Tungsten and served as president of the International Tungsten Industry Association for two years. Leahy was also a director of the Mining Association of Canada from 2011 to 2013.
