MINING PEOPLE: Eriez, Ethos Gold, and Teck

Jaisen Kohmuench has been promoted to senior director of Asia-Pacific operations and strategy at Eriez in Erie, Penn. He has been with the company for nearly 20 years and was recently managing director of Eriez-Australia.

Ethos Gold Corp. of Vancouver has appointed Jo Price VP exploration. She is an independent geological consultant to a number of junior companies with more than 20 years in the field, including 10 years in project management. She has worked on multiple gold, polymetallic, and graphite, and vanadium projects in the United States, Australia, and Canada.

Vancouver’s Teck Resources has refreshed the ranks of vice-presidents with several appointments. Greg Brouwer is now VP technology and innovation; Amparo Cornejo becomes VP Chile sustainability and corporate affairs; Chris Dechert  is now VP South America; Sepanta Dorri was hired as VP corporate development; Karla Mills is promoted to VP project development; Crystal Prystai is now VP and corporate controller; and Keith Stein becomes VP major projects. Separately, Teck announced the appointment of Dean Winsor as senior VP and chief human resources officer.
