MINING PEOPLE: First Bauxite, Harting, Jaguar, Reservoir Minerals, Taseko, and Yorbeau

Alan Roughead has replaced Hilbert Shields as president and CEO at First Bauxite Corp. Roughead was managing director of Queensland Magnesia until its sale in 2012. He will be relocating to the company's head office in Toronto.

Harting has appointed veteran sales executive Claude Langlois as sales director for Canada, heading up its expanding sales and customer engagement for the Canadian market. Langlois will be based at Harting Canada headquarters in suburban St-Laurent, QC.

Toronto's Jaguar Mining has named Neil Hepworth as COO. The company also appointed Jim Healy as VP Gurupi project development.

Reservoir Minerals of Vancouver made three recent executive appointments. Tim Livesey is now COO and Dr. Tim Fletcher is VP exploration. Former VP exploration Aleksandar Obrenovic will be country manager in Serbia.

The newest board member of Taseko Mines is Linda Thorstad. She is currently the director of government and community relations and permitting at Alamos Gold. Thorstad is the past president of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC, a founding member of the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers (now Geoscience Canada) and honorary fellow of Engineers Canada.

Yorbeau Resources of Montreal reports that Gerald Riverin is now its president following the resignation of David Crevier.
