Jeff Hussey is the new VP of project development at Focus Graphite of Ottawa. He will be responsible for development of the company's high grade, high purity Lac Knife graphite project located south of Fermont, QC. Hussey is the holder of a BSc degree in geology from the University of New Brunswick.

Vancouver-based Goldcorp has named Russell Ball as executive VP capital management. He was most recently executive VP and CFO for Newmont Mining. Born in South Africa, Ball holds a chartered account designation from South Africa and a masters in accounting from the University of Natal (South Africa). He is also a certified public accountant in Colorado.

The new president and CEO of Montreal's Maudore Minerals is Greg Struble. He is an executive and mining engineer with 30 years' experience in underground and open pit mines in the United States, Canada and Chile for companies including Barrick, Meridian Gold, AngloGold and Homestake.

Orbite Aluminae of Montreal has hired Glenn R. Kelley as executive VP and COO. The appointment takes effect on May 21, 2013.

The president and CEO of Robex Resources in Quebec City is now George Cohen, who replaces Andre Gagne.
