FALCONBRIDGE has named David W. Kerr as chairman. He succeeds Alex G. Balogh, who will continue to serve on the board.

The Board of SOUTHERNERA RESOURCES has appointed Mark Rosslee to the position of senior VP and CFO. He joins SouthernEra after a 12-year career with DE BEERS.

INCO LIMITED has invited John T. Mayberry and Roger Phillips to join its board of directors. Mayberry's 20-year career at DOFASCO concluded as chairman and CEO; he also sits on several boards and committees of other enterprises. Phillips is the retired IPSCO president and CEO.

Stephen Malouf has resigned from the board of DIAMOND FIELDS INTERNATIONAL. The company recovers diamonds from the seabed just offshore Namibia.
