Mike Muzylowski has become a director of Raymond, Alta.-based AMERICAN CREEK RESOURCES. A graduate in geology from the University of Manitoba, he received the 1988 PDAC Developer of the Year Award, in recognition of his role in discovering 15 orebodies, including the one that became the Trout Lake mine. He is also president of Callinan Mines.

Toronto-based INTER-CITIC MINERALS has added former Prime Minister John Turner to its advisory board.

The new president of Vancouver’s CAPELLA RESOURCES is its former chief geological officer, Richard L. Bachman. Former president Brian Gracey resigned that position but remains on the company’s board.

LATIN AMERICAN MINERALS of Toronto has tagged Dr. Waldo A. Perez to be its senior VP of exploration and a director. He received his PhD (geology) in 1991 from the Universidad Nacional de Tucuman (Argentina) and completed his post-doctorate geology degree in 1992 at the University of Alberta.

Vancouver-headquartered FORTUNA SILVER MINES has added two new faces to its management team. Tom Vehrs has become VP exploration and Arturo Salvador is now manager of mining operations.

Hans J. Rasmussen has joined the board of EAGLECREST EXPLORATIONS of Vancouver. He is active in several associations including the Geologic Society of Nevada and the Northwest Mining Association.
