Kent Turner is now COO of Andover Mining Corp. of Vancouver. He has been actively involved in all phases of the mineral exploration business for more than 30 years. Turner spent much of his professional career with Cominco American.
Belo Sun Mining Corp. of Toronto has named Peter Tagliamonte as the independent chair of the board, replacing Stan Bharti who will remain a director. The company has also appointed Mike Hoffman as its new VP engineering.
Vancouver-based Keegan Resources has named Shawn Wallace its CEO to replace Maurice Tagami who is stepping down for personal reasons. Wallace is an experienced mining executive who has been involved in the leadership of the company since its inception.
