MINING PEOPLE IN THE NEWS: Argex Mining, Capstone, Champion Minerals and Lithium Americas

Montreal-headquartered Argex Mining has elected a new board of directors. They are Mark Billings, Roy Bonnell, Anthony Garson, Peter H. Smith and Robert Guibault. Bonnell will take over the duties of president and CEO from Michael Dehn, who will be responsible for the company's technology development and commercialization.

Rick Zimmer, Hak-Kyn Shin and Jan Castro have been added to the board of Capstone Mining in Vancouver. Stephen Quin and Colin Benner have resigned.

Champion Minerals of Toronto has named Jean Depatie a director of the company. He brings over 35 years of national and international experience in economic geology to the board.

The new chairman of Toronto's Lithium Americas is W. Thomas Hodgson, who is also a senior partner and chairman of Greenbrook Capital Partners. Also, John Kanellitsas has joined the board.
