Vancouver-based Balmoral Resources has added Darin Wagner to its team as president and CEO. He held those positions at West Timmins Mining until its takeover by Lake Shore Gold. Additionally, Gordon Neal joins the Balmoral board and Ross McDonald takes up the reins as CFO.

Evolving Gold of Vancouver has appointed R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus as chairman of the board. The company has two major interests, the Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming and the Carlin properties in Nevada.

Founder and former president and CEO of Noront Resources, Richard Nemis, has joined Kermode Exploration of Toronto as its new president, CEO and a director. John Harvey and David Graham have also joined the board. Nemis and Harvey were awarded the PDAC's Bill Dennis Award for the discovery of several deposits in Ontario's Ring of Fire.

Quaterra Resources of Vancouver has named Gerald Prosalendis its VP corporate development. He held corresponding positions at Western Silver before its sale to Glamis Gold and at Dia Met Minerals during the development of the Ekati diamond mine.
