BLUE SKY URANIUM of Vancouver has named Dr. Clifton Farrell as executive VP and COO. He is a graduate of Queens University and Harvard University and holds a Governor Generals Award for excellence in geology.

Graham Kerr has become the new president of BHP BILLITONs new diamonds and specialty products group.

Parvis Farsangi is now COO of CVRD INCO, headquartered in Toronto. He is a former manager of Falconbridges Sudbury mines and mills business.

DIAMOND FIELDS INTERNATIONAL of Cape Town, South Africa, is adding Edward Flood to its board of directors. He is a former president of Ivanhoe Mines and an investment banker at Haywood Securities (UK).

The new president and COO of DIAVIK DIAMOND MINES of Yellowknife, NT, is Kim Truter. He will join the mine in October from a large surface coal mine belonging to Rio Tinto Coal Australia.

GAMMON GOLD of Halifax has named Rene Marion its new CEO. He replaces Russell Barwick, who will remain a member of the board.
