BRETT RESOURCES of Vancouver welcomes Ron W. Stewart and Steve M. Cook to its board of directors. Stewart is also president and CEO of Verena Minerals and before that VP exploration for Kinross Gold. Cook is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and a lawyer.

Dr. John Gammon has agreed to become a director of Vancouver-based FIRST POINT MINERALS. He is founder and co-chair of the World Mines Ministries Forums based in Toronto and was successful in establishing the Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation at Laurentian University which initially raised over $20 million for research in geosciences, deep mining, telerobotics and the environment. As assistant deputy minister of mines and minerals for Ontario, Gammon was responsible for the Ontario Geological Survey.

Vancouver's REDCORP VENTURES has a new VP sales and marketing, Gordon E. McKnight. He will be responsible for concentrate sales contracts and administration, as well as logistical co-ordination for the materials handling arrangements for Tulsequah Chief base metal concentrates.

STRATHMORE MINERALS of Kelowna, B.C., announced that Dev Randhawa has stepped down from his position as CEO but he will remain chairman of the board. The company's current president & COO, David Miller, will succeed Randhawa as CEO. Steven Khan, VP corporate development, has been appointed president. John DeJoia becomes VP New Mexico operations, and James Crouch has been promoted to VP Wyoming operations. Patrick Groening remains CFO.
