DRC RESOURCES of Vancouver has named Chris Bradbrook as president, CEO and director. His 25-year career has covered many aspects of the mineral industry from exploration and development to investor relations and marketing. Most recently he was VP of corporate development at Goldcorp. DRC is preparing to put the Afton copper deposit in British Columbia back into production.

Subject to regulatory approval, FORTUNE MINERALS of London, Ont., has named Julian Kemp its VP finance and CFO. He joins the team to develop the Mount Klappan coal deposits and NICO gold-cobalt-bismuth deposit in British Columbia.

Bruce Thorndycraft is the new general manager of the Atlanta gold mine in Idaho, says Toronto-based TWIN MINING. He has 20 years' experience and international recognition for gold heap-leach skills. Project manager Doug Glaspey, who brought the project through the feasibility stage, will remain at the mine as a consultant.

Vancouver-based DIAMONDS NORTH welcomes Terry Lyons to its board of directors. A graduate of the universities of British Columbia and Western Ontario, he is currently chairman of Northgate Minerals as well as a director and officer of several other Canadian mining companies. Lyons is a former governor of the Olympic Foundation of Canada and a member of the advisory board of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
