East Asia Minerals Corp. of Toronto has named Dave Anthony its new COO. He will guide the development of the company’s Miwah gold project in Indonesia.

East Asia Minerals Corp. of Toronto has named Dave Anthony its new COO. He will guide the development of the company’s Miwah gold project in Indonesia.

The new COO of Vancouver-based Elgin Mining is James A. (Jim) Currie. He was recently COO for Kimber Resources and before that was COO of New Gold.

Michael McMillan is the new CEO of Galore Resources of Vancouver. He has been an active member of the board since September 2011 as well as a strong supporter and shareholder for a number of years. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University.

Vancouver’s Kincora Copper has appointed John Rickus its president and CEO. He has a degree in geology and over 40 years’ experience in the mining industry. Much of his career was spent in various capacities with Rio Tinto.

The new president and CEO of Toronto-based Northern Gold Mining is Greg Gibson. He recently held the same posts at Trelawney Mining and Exploration. Gibson replaces Martin Shefsky who is now executive chairman of the board.

Redstar Gold Corp. of Vancouver has named Bob Singh its new CEO. He steps into the role previous held by Scott Weekes who will remain with the company as president. Singh is the founder and president of North Face Software and has worked for both junior and senior mining companies.

The latest appointment to the board of Toronto-based Rubicon Minerals Corp. is Peter Rowlandson. He is a past-chairman of the Ontario Mining Association and has over 30 years experience in the gold mines of northern Ontario.
