Emerick Resources of Vancouver has named Ralph Rushton its new president and CEO. He spent a summer at the company's Grew Creek gold project in the Yukon as part of the research towards his masters degree.

 

James A. Sullivan is the new president and COO of Vancouver's Hana Mining. Outgoing president, Peter Wilson, will remain on the board of directors.

 

Toronto-headquartered Inter-Citic Minerals has engaged mining engineer Malcolm Swallow for the development of its Dachang gold project in China. Swallow was the project manager at Imperial Metals during the construction of the Mount Polley copper-gold mine in British Columbia.

 

Toronto's Noront Resources has a new COO, Paul G. Semple. He is a veteran mine-maker with successes including Voisey's Bay, Diavik and Mesquite to his credit.

 

Rodina Minerals of Toronto has named David M. Stein as president and CEO. He replaces director Farhad Abasov who has resigned but will continue to consult for the company. Stein also replaces former president Donald Mosher, who will remain on the board.
