Jaisen Kohmeunch has been promoted to the newly created position of deputy managing director of the Eirez Flotation Division USA. He joined the company 10 years ago as a research engineer, and most recently served as manager of the R&D process group.

The new president and CEO of Vancouver’s Mammoth Resources is Thomas Atkins. He is a veteran of other mining companies including Rockex, Castle Gold, Argonaut Gold and Crowflight Minerals. Former president and CEO Edward Farrauto has stepped down from that role but remains a director of Mammoth.

Renforth Resources of Toronto has named Nicole Brewster its president and CEO as well a director. She comes to the job from the mineral exploration and contracting sector. David Danziger, the former president and CEO, will continue to serve as chairman of the company.

Ebe Scherkus, a veteran of the gold mining industry, has joined the board of Montreal’s Richmont Mines. He recently retired from the duties of COO at Agnico-Eagle Gold. Scherkus is a graduate of McGill University.

Rogue Iron Ore of Vancouver has named Ronald Mariani VP operations. He is a mineral processing engineer with a lengthy career with Cleveland Cliffs mining operations.

John Morgan is now the president and CEO of Vancouver-based Spur Ventures. He is a geologist with a 35-year career that spans the Americas. He succeeds Dr. Rob Rennie who has retired.
