Vancouver's Goldbrook Ventures has named Edward T. Gardner its new CEO and a director. Former CEO David Baker is now chairman of the company.

Paul Matysek, president and CEO of Potash One, is taking up responsibilities as chairman and a director of Vancouver-based Ocean Park Ventures. He is a geologist/geochemist by training.

The new chairman of Toronto's Pure Nickel is R. David Russell. He has been a director of the company since 2006 and is also CEO and president of Apollo Gold Corp.

Rusoro Mining of Vancouver announced the resignation of company president George Salamis on May 30, 2010. At that time, Andre Agapov will assume the dual role of president and CEO.

Patrick Godin has been named to the newly created post of COO at Vancouver-based Stornoway Diamond Corp. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operational requirements of the Renard diamond project in Quebec. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the job.

Torex Gold Resources (formerly Gleichen Resources) has named Terry MacGibbon as non-executive chairman. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of FNX Mining.
