Westerman Memorial Award to Patrick McAndless, who is VP exploration at Vancouver-based IMPERIAL METALS. McAndless joined Imperial in 1996 as part of its merger with Bethlehem Resources. He is an honours geology graduate of the University of British Columbia.

He was selected for his innovations that made Goldcorp a mining powerhouse and for his and wife Cheryl’s $10-million donation to the University of Toronto Health Network, as well as other accomplishments.
