Kalimantan Gold Corp. of Vancouver has named Faldi Ismail to the post of deputy chairman and CEO to replace Rahman Connelly.

Kalimantan Gold Corp. of Vancouver has named Faldi Ismail to the post of deputy chairman and CEO to replace Rahman Connelly.

The new VP operations at Vancouver-based MBMI Resources is Frank Pastorino. He has experience in senior administrative and operations positions with mining projects in the former Soviet Union and the Philippines.

On July 1, 2001, Robert Martin, founder, president and CEO of Calgary's New Millennium Capital Corp., will hand over the management of the company to Dean Journeaux, the next president and CEO. The company's direct shipping iron ore project near Schefferville, QC, is being developed in partnership with India's Tata Steel.

Vancouver-based Teck Resources  has named Ralph Lutes its VP Asian affairs and chief representative to China. Formerly of Stikeman Elliott LLP, he will join Teck on May 1, 2011.
