NEVADA PACIFIC GOLD of Vancouver has appointed Robert McEwen to its board of directors. He is the chairman and CEO of US Gold Corp. and past-chairman and CEO of Goldcorp, which he founded. McEwen holds an honorary doctorate of law from York University in Toronto and an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business, also in Toronto. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

Australian-based PALADIN RESOURCES has secured the services of Wyatt Buck as general manager of the Langer Heinrich uranium project in Swakopmund, Namibia. The mine will begin production in 2006. Buck is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and was for 15 years a senior executive with Cameco Corp. He was most recently general manager of the McArthur River mine and Key Lake mill. He will officially join Paladin on Feb. 1, 2006.

Dr. Shane Ebert is assuming the role of president at Calgary-based NORTHERN ABITIBI MINING on Dec. 31, 2005. He will take over from James Devonshire who is retiring on that date. Ebert is also a director of the company.
