D. Grenville Thomas, a member of the Canadian Hall of Fame and founder of Aber Resources, has been named the president and CEO of North Arrow Minerals in Vancouver. As well, Gordon Clarke is now the company's VP exploration.

 

Calgary-based Oilsands Quest has named Ronald Blakely to its board of directors. Blakely is a former CFO at Shell Canada and an executive with Royal Dutch Shell.

 

Potash One of Vancouver has appointed John S. McEwan as VP of solution processing. Before joining Potash One, he was the principal process engineer for Rio Tinto. He holds a degree in chemical engineering and has over 30 years of experience.

 

Vancouver-based Premium Exploration has made Wilf Struck, a geological engineer, its new CEO. He will join the development team working on the company's gold projects in Idaho.

 

The new executive management team at Toronto-headquartered Sulliden Exploration includes Peter Tagliamonte as president and CEO (effective September 2009), Scott Moore as executive VP corporate development, and Joe Milbourne as VP technical services. Current president and CEO John Kearney will continue in those roles during the transition period until September and thereafter sit on the Sulliden board.
