QUEENSTAKE RESOURCES, a Canadian company based in Denver, has named Rod C. McKeen its new corporate secretary, following the resignation of Doris Meyer. Mike Smith has been elected to the board to replace Grant Edey, who did not run for re-election. The board also appointed Robert Zerga as non-executive chairman replacing James Mancuso who will remain on the board.

The new president of Victoria, B.C.-based KENSINGTON RESOURCES is Robert A. McCallum. Most recently, he was president and COO of Philex Mining
in Manila, Philippines, until he retired at the end of 1998. Since retirement he has been engaged as a consultant to the new owners of South Africa's gold mines and as a director of Miramar Mining until June 2002.

Vancouver-based NEVSUN RESOURCES has named Francois Auclair manager of its interests in Eritrea. His duties include overseeing the planned feasibility study for Nevsun's Bisha massive sulphides project.
