Toronto-based RNC GOLD has made changes to its board of directors. Randy J. Martin will assume the office of chairman and retain his role as CEO. Former chairman Wayne Beach has stepped aside but will remain on the board as an independent director.

Jean F. Kearney has joined the board of Montreal-based SULLIDEN EXPLORATION. Kearney has over 30 years experience with junior and mid-tier companies around the world. He is also a past director of the Mining Association of Canada and of the Gold Institute.

ROXMARK MINES of Toronto has named Stanley B. Emms its mine manager as the company makes the transition from exploration to gold and molybdenum production. Emms is a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines.

Vancouver-based MERIT MINING CORP. has named William M. Shaver as chairman and Victor Wyprysky as vice-chairman. Shaver is a co-founder of Dynatec and chairman of the Mines and Aggregates Safety and Health Association of Ontario. Wyprysky is the managing principal of Crescent Financial Corp. Both men were also named directors of the company.

OREZONE RESOURCES of Ottawa has named Ken Norris its new VP operations. He has a BSc in mineral process engineering from the University of British Columbia and over 19 year's experience including large gold and copper projects.
