Quebec-based SOCIETE D'EXPLORATION MINIERE VIOR has named Patrick Bradley to the position of president, replacing Claude St-Jacques who becomes chairman. Since 1996, Bradley was VP corporate development at troubled McWatters Mining. Vior's main asset is the Douay gold project in the Abitibi region.

William (Bill) Faust is now VP operations for Vancouver-based NEVADA PACIFIC GOLD. His extensive experience includes open pit and heap leaching in the United States, Mexico and Brazil, making him well equipped to oversee Nevada Pacific's Magistral mine project in Mexico and other aspects of the company's operations.

TOURNIGAN GOLD CORP. of Vancouver recently welcomed James Walchuck as VP mining. He comes to Tournigan fresh from six-years development and operating experience at Barrick's Bulyanhulu gold mine in Tanzania. His new employer lauds his hands-on experience and successful track record in project management. Tournigan has advanced gold projects in Northern Ireland and Slovakia.
