Newstrike Resources of Toronto says that company founder, president and CEO John A. Pollock has retired. Scott Kelly has been named his replacement.

Toronto’s Noront Resources has invited Sybil Veenman to join its board of directors. She has for many years been a member of the Barrick gold executive team.

The board of Vancouver-headquartered SouthGobi Resources has named Aminbuhe its new CEO and executive director. Formerly, he was the company’s CFO. Yulan Guo becomes the new CFO.

Richard Williams is the new president and CEO of Strongbow Resources in Vancouver. He also serves as CEO of Helio Resource Corp. Kenneth Armstrong resigned his position as president and CEO but will remain on the Strongbow board.
