Last week we were pleased to list some successful private placements of the seven-figure size made by Canadian junior companies. The good news continues this week.
Here is sampling of the deals:
Vancouver-based Uranerz Energy Corp. is raising $10 million by issuing 8.55 million units at a price of US$1.17 each. The net proceeds will fund construction at the company’s Nichols Ranch in situ uranium project in Wyoming.
Veris Gold Corp. of Vancouver expects to gross $7.8 million by issuing 15 million units, and an over allotment is possible. Veris is focused on re-developing the Jerritt Canyon gold mine and mill in Nevada.
Vancouver’s Banks Island Gold is offering 2.5 million flow-through share units that will raise $4 million in working capital.
Woulfe Mining Corp. of Vancouver has raised $1 million, thanks to an investment by Korea Zinc Co. Woulfe’s flagship property is the Sandong tungsten mine in South Korea that it intends to return to production by year end.
If there are further large offerings by juniors, CMJ will be happy to keep our readers informed.
