NEW YORK CITY – The shares of ABER DIAMOND CORP. have begun trading on the New York Stock Exchange. They will trade under the Aber name until Nov. 19, 2007, when the company will become known as HARRY WINSTON DIAMOND CORP. and trade under the symbol HWD. Harry Winston will trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol HW.

The company is a specialist diamond enterprise with assets in the mining and retail segments of the industry. The company supplies rough diamonds to the global market from its 40% interest in the Diavik mine, located at Lac de Gras, NWT. The company’s retail division, Harry Winston, Inc., is a premier jewellery and timepiece retailer with salons in key locations including New York, Paris, London, Beijing, Tokyo and Beverly Hills.
