EDMONTON — Committee Bay Resources consolidated its common shares on a five-for-one basis and changed its name to CBR Gold Corp. Shares began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new name and stock symbol "CBR" on March 2, 2009.

 

CBR's principal asset the Committee Bay project in Nunavut's greenstone belt of the same name. The latest resource figures for the Three Bluffs area (at a 2.0 g/t Au cutoff) are 2.7 million tonnes at 5.85 g/t Au indicated and 1.3 million oz at 5.98 g/t Au inferred. Contained ounces in both categories total over 750,000 oz. Gold recovery from metallurgical samples was better than 95% in locked cycle gravity and flotation tests.
