NORTHERN MANITOBA - CROWFLIGHT MINERALS of Toronto has applied to the Province of Manitoba for the environmental licence to develop and operate the Bucko mine, mill and tailings management area. The nickel project is located in the Thompson Nickel Belt near of the City of Wabowden.

Crowflight president and CEO Tom Atkins was pleased with the response to the company's open house concerning the project last February. He said, "We look forward to the review of this proposed mine development project and closure plan by the various provincial and federal agencies, and the company's receipt of full project permitting is expected within the next four months as we advance the Bucko deposit towards planned production in 2007." (Atkins can be reached at 416-861-5900.)

The Bucko Lake deposit has indicated resources of 1.8 million tonnes grading 2.10% Ni and inferred resources of 1.6 million tonnes grading 1.88% Ni.
