RUSSIA - CENTRASIA MINING of Vancouver has reported an intersection of 166.0 metres grading 0.31% Ni from its 100%-owned Souker property on the Kola Peninsula. The company is about halfway through a 10,000-metre infill program, hoping to eventually develop an open pit mine.

Other long intersections included 151.0 metres at 0.26% Ni, 97.9 metres at 0.25% Ni and 85.7 metres of 0.29% Ni. All intersections were made between surface and 300 metres depth. The historic resource (using Soviet definitions) for the property are 179.1 million tonnes averaging 0.38% Ni and 0.13% Cu. Centrasia's drill program will allow the Soviet estimate to be converted to NI43-101-compliant resources.

Centrasia maintains a website at www.CentrasiaMining.com, but it was inaccessible at press time. The company's news releases may be read at www.SEDAR.com.
