MANITOBA – CROWFLIGHT MINERALS of Toronto has purchased a used concentrator for its Bucko Lake project in the Thompson Nickel Belt. The deal includes the plant building, primary SAG mill, regrind ball mill, 35-t overhead crane, flotation cells, various cyclones and conveyances, and the concentrate dryer.
Crowflight has agreed to pay $1.5 million over five months until the end of 2006 and issue 1.67 million common shares of Crowflight to the vendor. Buying used equipment represents a $2.0-million saving over new equipment, says the company. The mill will be erected in time for mining to begin at Bucko Lake by the end of 2007.
