NORTHERN ONTARIO - Toronto-based LIBERTY MINES says that production from its Redstone underground nickel mine, 25 km southeast of Timmins, will begin the middle of this month, May 2006.
Ore will be mined at a rate of 200 tonnes/day and trucked to Cobalt, Ont., to be processed into concentrate, which will be shipped to the company's strategic partner, JILIN JIEN NICKEL INDUSTRY of China.
