ONTARIO - Commercial production levels have been attained at the Shakespeare nickel mine belonging to Ursa Major Minerals of Toronto. The mine is located 70 km west of Sudbury.

During the three-month period ending July 31, 2010, the mine delivered 36,932 tonnes of ore to Xstrata's Strathcona mill. Contained metals totalled 279,000 lb of nickel, 318,000 lb of copper, 17,900 lb of cobalt and 1,200 oz of precious metals. For the quarter, the ore averaged 0.343% Ni, 0.391% Cu, 0.022% Co and 1.0 g/t PM. This is 90% of the grades estimated during bulk sampling and pre-production mining, according to the company.

Maps and complete details of the Shakespeare project are available at www.UrsaMajorMinerlas.com.
