(Image: Google)[/caption] ONTARIO – Vale Canada announced late last week that it is suspending operations at its Coleman nickel mine in Levack due to concerns about safety. The move will allow the company to expedite repairs to the shaft ventilation system at the mine. Repairs may be completed as early as this week. About 500 people work at Coleman. Update Nov. 15: The Sudbury Star reported that the shutdown may last a month.
