VANCOUVER – TECK COMINCO has been chosen to supply the gold, silver and bronze for the Olympic medals awarded at the 2010 Winter Games. The six-year deal also creates a partnership between Teck Cominco and the Vancouver Organizing Committee involving sponsorship for the 2010 Winter Games as well as those in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012. The ROYAL CANADIAN MINT in Ottawa will also be involved in the design and production of the Olympic medals.
