NORTHERN ONTARIO – Toronto-based MARATHON PGM CORP. has released results from last year’s drill program on the Main and BR zones at its project near Marathon, Ont. The best assay was 27.35 g/t PGM+Au and 0.09% Cu over 2.0 metres. The complete assays for all 12 holes are posted at www.MarathonPGM.com.

The Main zone was drilled in a bid to increase inferred resources. The work also extended a previously identified high-grade zone 30 metres along strike and 60 metres down dip. More drilling is planned this year.

Drilling in the BR zone returned the best assays. The intersection mentioned above was part of a 5.6-metre core section that graded 9.08 g/t PGM+Au and 0.07% Cu. The mineralization is near the surface and will require further testing this year.

Marathon is awaiting assays from 11 holes drilled in the Malachite zone and will then complete a new resource estimate.
