NORTHERN ONTARIO - Toronto-based MARATHON PGM CORP. reports that the first study done at its project 10 km north of the town of Marathon estimates the in-pit resource contains 2.1 million oz of PGMs and Au plus 348.0 million lb of copper. Total resources are 40.0 million tonnes at 1.07 g/t Pd, 0.29 g/t Pt, 0.10 g/t Au and 0.36% Cu in the measured and indicated categories. Additional resources are inferred to be 4.6 million tonnes at 1.06 g/t Pd, 0.33 g/t Pt, 0.12 g/t Au and 0.31% Cu.
Infill drilling is planned as well as drilling on selected exploration targets.
The property is wholly owned by Marathon PGM. The deposit lies on the eastern margin of the Port Coldwell Complex. Maps and cross-sections are available at www.MarathonPGM.com.
