NUNAVUT - Drill core from the footwall at the Ferguson Lake nickel/copper/cobalt/platinum/palladium project has returned 29.02 g/t Pt and 20.02 g/t Pd over 1.23 metres for STARFIELD RESOURCES of Vancouver. The intersection occurred during Phase One of the near-surface definition drilling of the West zone.

PGE-enriched footwall style of mineralization is generally found 30 to 50 metres below the base of the moderately north-dipping copper/nickel/cobalt/palladium/platinum main sulphide lenses. A property-wide inferred resource estimate of 2.4 million oz of palladium and 400,000 oz of platinum is estimated to be contained in 54.8 million tonnes of main sulphides at a 1% Cu/Ni cutoff. Drilling will continue in the West zone so that a PGE resource estimate can be made for the footwall-style PGE-enriched mineralization along the 1.8-km strike length of exposed gabbro in the West zone.

More detailed drilling results are posted at www.starfieldres.com in the SRU News area. The Project Maps & Diagrams are also informative.
