ALASKA - Vancouver-based NORTHERN DYNASTY MINERALS has released a resource estimate for its Pebble East porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit, calling the one-billion-tonne-plus number "world class". At a 0.60% Cu cut-off, the deposit is estimated to contain 1.83 billion tonnes of inferred resources grading 1.05% Cu equivalent (CuEq) and containing 24.3 billion lb of copper, 22.1 million oz of gold, and 1.5 billion lb of molybdenum. The Pebble East deposit is open in all directions and to depth.

Northern Dynasty has budgeted US$20 million for a 30,500-metre drill program to begin in March at Pebble East. The company is also working on comprehensive engineering, environmental and socioeconomic programs for an operation that may include both underground and open pit mines.

The Pebble West deposit at the same property contains measured and indicated resources of 970.0 million tonnes at 0.78% CuEq and inferred resources of 226.0 million tonnes grading 0.77% CuEq. Learn more at www.NorthernDynastyMinerals.com.
